Dear members of the ICC Co-op Solidarity Announcement List,

October is Co-op Month, and ICC's  Co-op Solidarity Team (CST) is
celebrating with a screening of the documentary film "Beyond
Elections".

Where: The Moses Coady/Paulo Freire ICC Education Center, located
directly behind Luther House at 1510-1520 Hill Street, Ann Arbor
When: Sun Oct 10 at 2:30 pm

The film screening will be followed by a  discussion on the topic of
"What is Participatory Democracy?"

Snacks and refreshments will be provided. So, bring your housemates
and friends to the ICC Ed Center this Sunday, October 10th, at 2:00
p.m.

A quick description about "Beyond Elections":

"From communal councils to participatory budgeting, from
constitutional assemblies to grassroots movements, and from
worker-occupied factories to cooperatives across the hemisphere, this
documentary is a journey to address the question of what democracy
really is."
