to 2009 Emerging Technologies Workshop
My first reaction after viewing the video was sadness. I just keep
thinking-WOW! There are so many pieces of information our students
want and need to say. So many of them are true. I agree to some
extend technology can be the connection to reaching students and
effectively communicating with them. I do think we need to keep in
mind the different skill levels of students and remember we need to
give them the training and tools to use the technology related to
their coursework.
On a side note, I plan to show the video to my students. I am really
interested to listen to their reactions. Thanks for sharing the
video. Lori

It will be interesting to see how your students respond to the video.
I think students are using these technologies but have never had any
formal training in using them. Everyone just figure they know how. I
think it's our job to not only embrace the technology but show them
how to use the technology well.
