Apply a thin, even layer onto cleansed, dry skin before moisturizing. Gently massage into skin until serum has been absorbed. Use 1 time a week to start and work your way up to daily use. Use sun protection during the day, and moisturize well when using.

Faded gets its smell from Glutathione, an ingredient that is really effective at reducing the appearance of discoloration in weeks. Glutathione has a cysteine chain that causes it to have a sulfur like smell.

I originally bought this by chance. I have had hyperpigmentation across my back from old acne for several years now, sometimes I forget about it, but then you look at a nice slinky dress and remember. I've tried many treatments chemical peels, tretinoin, hydroquinone so I wasn't expecting much. However after three weeks (of not very diligent use!) I could see results. The stubborn marks on my shoulders and back had noticeably faded - even under bright lights my skin looks more even and clear, the mottling fading. Now I'm applying this regularly and just got a second tube - I can't believe it works, I had almost resigned myself to no slinky tops for life! Now I'm going to have clear skin right in time for summer, thank you Topicals!

I didn't think I could buy an OTC product that does SO MUCH for hyperpigmentation with only A SMALL AMOUNT of product! I started off using this as a weekly treatment before increasing the frequency, as needed, to help with post-acne scarring and dark marks. Side note: the smell is not the best but once you see the results, you'll be hooked! RUN DON'T WALK!

I went to go print today and I get a very light faded black ink. I cleaned and deep cleaned the print head. I also did the nozzle pattern and it worked for the colors but did not give me the box on top that it is suppose to. (please see pictures for both printer outcomes). I even put in new ink cartridges for all the ink. I don't know what else to do to fix this issue.

Thanks for joining the conversation, kstepanski!

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

Thanks and have a great day!

I am using the PIXMA MG5520 printer. I cleaned the printer heads with a printer head cleaning solution which seemed to solve the problem, however, now my printer is printing weirdly (see picture for reference). I tried did the printer head cleaning through the printer and then checked the nozzle pattern (see picture to reference) as well as a deep clean again. I tried the alignment of the printer head too. Not sure what else to do or why it is printing off now.

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA MG5520 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!

You can also speak with a Canon Upgrade Program specialist to help you score a modern replacement that would meet your current needs at a discount. You can reach them weekdays and Saturdays at 1-866-443-8002.

Hope this helps!

The issue looks like a problem with the printer's horizontal encoder strip. You can try reloading the ink tanks and checking the inside left and right for any obstructions. If the inside is clear, it looks like the printer needs service. You can log into your MyCanon account to check your service options or contact chat support.

Problem: Colors are faded when I print a graphic or a photo. I have replaced the Black toner cartridge with a brand new Canon toner cartridge, but no change. I have also updated the firmware on the printer, and installed the latest drivers. The 3 Color cartridges show 50% and the Black shows 100%. I have no idea if it's a problem with the hardware, or if there is a setting I can change, but no graphics or photos print correctly. I am more than willing to troubleshoot, but I really don't know where to go from here.

First, I remove the toners, and gently rotated them. I didn't see any change on my test print after this step. However, after performing the Full Gradation Adjustment, there was a significant improvement! Where the gray text didn't show up at all on my test print initially, it showed up perfectly after the gradation adjustment. The graphic is also printing far better. All the colors are showing up now. Where the grass was almost a pink color before, it is now a proper green. The purple harness is a bit over-saturated, but I think I can work that out with small tweaks.

I have a Image Class MF743CDW laser printer. I bought the printer in October 2022. The print quality has never been very good. The colors are dull and the text seems to be faded. I have installed the latest drivers. I am lost at this point. Does anyone have any suggestions? My ink status is 20% on all cartridges.

So, yes, I still have it. My client gave it to me to get rid of or use. I figured I would everntually sell it at a very good price when the opportunity arose. I have a small IT business and occasionaly, I have an opportunity to help my folks out with used equipment. Most of my clients are very small.

A few weeks ago, I thought that the opportunity had arrived. I had to reset the login so I had to talk to tech service. I got lucky. I talked to a very knowledgeable tech who I think resolved my issue.

It appears that my issue was caused by LOW BLACK INK. When the black ink is low, it conserves black ink and this issue can occur. There is an option to ignore the low black ink condition and continue to use ink as usual. .

If the prints are faded, it could be caused by the type of paper you are printing on, the settings or the hardware/toner. In this situation, you can start by reseating the toner and gently shaking the cartridges to make sure the toner is evenly distributed. After that, you can try cleaning the fixing assembly if you continue to have issues. If the prints continue to look faded, you can try adjusting the printer gradation.

Hey Joliet_Tech... I'm your neighbor here in Shorewood
Did you ever figure out your image quality issues with the MF743? I've LOVED all my canon laser printers, but this one has been a nightmare for me. I don't know if I should suffer the loss and get a set of Canon genuine toners or just get a whole new printer. I've had good luck with OKI/Samsung LED color printers in the past. I'm really sad about my canon because my old imageclass d480 is my favorite laser printer of all time; albeit monochrome. The MF743 refuses to perform any of the cleaning operations. I've tried a factory reset. I'm to the point where I want to throw it out the window and have a toddler-style-crying-temper-tantrum! Images are dull and almost look like printed negatives....color is all wrong. Did you keep your MF743?

You can gain a little bit of control by using a texture fill*: both the Albedo and Mask should line up if you create the mask from the Albedo, then change it from the mask tab in the properties. If you add the mask first, the origin of the Albedo needs to be central to the surface (I think).

In theory you could add a faded out noise bump map (to the same fade rate as the others) and it should reduce/eliminate the grain pattern, but I didn't have one made up to hand... this would be a work-around rather than a proper solution.

Hello, i am A VERY new user to Indesign- not sure if I clicked something that is applying some sort of weird fade or washed-out effect to all the images I am placing onto my board, but everything looks dull- see images attached.

I was having this problem too (hence finding this thread) I fixed my problem by right clicking on the image -> Graphics -> Image colour settings -> setting Profile to: Adobe Indesign default RGB and my Rendering intent to: Perceptual (images).

My bet is that you've got scrambled color reproduction settings -- either within InDesign itself, or if the images were manipulated with Photoshop, in the photos themselves. By my experience this generally results when images are set up for, say, newsprint reproduction but the job (and/or InDesign file) is prepped for magazine reproduction.

It looks like you have applied some transparency amount or an Effect to the images or their frames. Open the Flattener Preview panel and choose Transparent Objects from the Highlight pop-up. That will highlight any transparencies applied to objects on the page and you can use the Effects panel to remove effects or change opacity.

If you were to inadvertently set the Effects Opacity setting to less than 100% with nothing selected, then all future rectangles you create would have that opacity setting applied. You could also have an Opacity change applied to a default Object Style.

I am a very experienced InDesign user and am having this exact same problem all of the sudden. I have not accidentally applied any effects or anything. It will happen sometimes just from resizing an image. Can anyone help?
