python-icat 1.7.0 released

Dear all,

I'm pleased to announce the release of a new version (1.7.0) of

python-icat - Python interface to ICAT and IDS

actually, already last week.

This release adds support for schema changes in icat.server 6.2. See
the Changelog [1] for a complete list of changes and details.

Please note that the core modules of python-icat [2] do not depend on
the particular version of the ICAT schema, they adapt to the
icat.server they are talking to at run time. The actual change in
python-icat 1.7.0 is that the icatdump command line script needs to be
told to also look for and include in the output instances of the new
Subject entity class that has been added to the schema in icat.server
6.2.
