python-icat 1.1.0 released

Dear all,

I have released version 1.2.0 of

python-icat — Python interface to ICAT and IDS

(Actually, I released it three weeks ago, but neglected to send the
announcement to the list, so here it comes with some delay.)

Most important new feature is an improvement in the input that module
icat.ingest accepts. This module has been added in the last release
1.1.0 and provides class IngestReader that reads metadata from an XML
file to add them to ICAT. With 1.2.0 it is now possible to link
datasets in the input with samples.
