Checking if a user belongs to particular group

Hi all,

We're using ICAT 4.2 at ILL.

How would I go about checking if a user belongs to a particular group without looping through a users groups?

for example:

     User[name='hall'] AND User IN Group[name='FacilityAdmin']

Is there any documentation on all of the different types of queries you can run?
