Adding a run to ICAT

I have spoken to one or two people about the need to add a Run entity to ICAT.

If you would like to add the Run to ICAT then please tell me what you think it is and in particular what it relates to and how it is identified. I would imagine that it will not require many attributes but that we would want to have RunParameters (in the same way as we have DatasetParameters and others).

For example a run might be a collection of datasets. I would like to minimize the relationships to avoid redundancy in the database, but some will be needed to define what makes a run unique.
