Voices From Guantanamo
Join us for a night of spoken word performance and prayer,
pulling from pieces written by men in Guantanamo and anti-torture
activists. This will be followed by a time for questions
and reflection, featuring torture survivors, local activists, and
two lawyers who have worked with men in Guantanamo.
We will explore the humanness of torture and detention, and
its implications for faith communities.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, connect, pray and act!
