Along with co-editors Glenn Greenwald and Laura Poitras, Jeremy is amongst a cadre of journalists who speak truth to power and are willing to take risks, personally and professionally, to report on the underbelly of the beast.

Jeremy Scahill is an investigative reporter,war correspondent, and author of the international best-selling books Dirty Wars: The World Is a Battlefield (2013) and Blackwater: The Rise of the World’s Most Powerful Mercenary Army (2008). He is also a founding editor, along with Glenn Greenwald and Laura Poitras, of the online news site The Intercept.

Jeremy has reported from Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Yemen, Nigeria, the former Yugoslavia, and elsewhere across the globe. Scahill has served as the national security correspondent for The Nation and Democracy Now!.
