UCFS Health Care is a private non profit, providing health and human services to residents of Eastern Connecticut since 1877. As a federally qualified health center (FQHC), UCFS Health Care offers outpatient primary care, dental care and behavioral health services. We have offices in Plainfield, Griswold, Norwich, Colchester and New London. Our Adult Day Center located at 165 McKinley Avenue in Norwich provides a variety of services in a safe and secure setting. Sheltering Arms is also located at 165 McKinley Avenue which is our residential care home for men and women 60 years of age and older.
Our Community Based Behavioral Health Services include our EMPS Crisis Intervention program which provides services for children and adolescents who are experiencing a psychiatric or behavioral health crisis as well as other programs that focus on both families and children.
We offer same day sick appointments and accept Medicaid and most insurances as well as a sliding fee scale.
At The Better Mom our mission is to build God-honoring homes by inspiring moms to be better moms through sharing life and learning together. We have an extremely vibrant and active community with over 35 contributors from all different walks of Motherhood who write daily for the site.
If an item arrives and has been damaged in shipping, please take photos of both the damaged product and damaged shipping materials and send them via email, along with a description of what you ordered and the damages, to ru...@thebettermom.com. We will either refund you the cost of the products or re-send them one time to your shipping address.
