You are cordially invited to submit your new research findings to the 19th International Symposium on Combinatorial Search (SoCS 2026).

SCOPE
Heuristic search and other forms of combinatorial search optimization are highly active areas of research in Artificial Intelligence and Operations Research.
SoCS aims to bring together researchers working in these areas to exchange ideas, share results, and foster cross-fertilization across disciplines.
SoCS welcomes submissions from all research communities that study or apply combinatorial search, with particular encouragement for submissions presenting real-world applications of heuristic search and related techniques.

SUBMISSION TYPES
All accepted technical and position papers will be included in the proceedings published by AAAI Press.
  • Technical Papers: Original long (up to 8 pages + 1 page refs) and short (up to 4 pages + 1 page refs) papers.
  • Position Papers: Original long and short position papers engaging with the broader context of the field.
  • Extended Abstracts: Summaries (up to 2 pages) of original work, work-in-progress, or work recently appeared in or under review at other venues.
