Did you have some last-minute findings that prevented you from submitting your ICAPS paper, and they go beyond a wrong proof or a nasty bug in your implementation? Don't weep, just… WEEP! (If this joke doesn’t make sense, check https://icaps24.icaps-conference.org/program/workshops/weep/)

Your work might still be valuable:

  • You found interesting or counterintuitive issues
  • Your approach didn’t work, but you understand why
  • You’re unsure what went wrong

Share your findings and discuss them with the community.

WEEP 2024 was well received, many people attended the talks and shared their enthusiasm, but only a few submissions were received, and a workshop only works if people share their (even unsuccessful) results. We want to emphasize that the connotation is positive: the focus is on learning from findings that usually wouldn’t be published.

Now that the call for ICAPS workshops is approaching, we would love to hear if the planning community is interested in a second edition of WEEP and willing to submit a paper. Please take a moment to fill out the following poll: https://forms.gle/VjvGM5eNzY7X4H21A (it takes less than a minute).

Looking forward to hearing from all of you!

Kind regards,
