Call for Papers - PuK 2026

This year we will bring the focus

Planning universal KI-(AI-) Systems (PuK)

With the increasing prevalence of semi-autonomous and autonomous AI systems, especially complex robots, new fields of research have emerged. Language and image processing via VLMs/LLMs offer new possibilities for control and communication. With the scaling of GPUs, the programming of inverse kinematics has shifted toward reinforcement learning using simulators, whether in motion planning or manipulation, or their integration. This is also linked to the consideration of interaction, cooperation, and confrontation between robots in agent systems. Enormous progress has been made over the years in action planning and multi-agent path planning, enabling the effective combination of long-term planning and actual plan execution in complex robots. With deep AI knowledge, new behavior can now be introduced into human-robot environments and new processes can be planned efficiently.

With this background, the workshop aims to bring together the fields of planning, scheduling, and robotics in order to describe the new challenges, present initial approaches, and identify future tasks.

The aim is to bring together work from the fields of

- Planning, scheduling
- Robotics
- Path planning
- Human-machine interaction
- Intelligent AI systems

So we like to attract practitioners presenting application systems as well as students presenting results of their thesis and also like to discuss future directions of these areas of interest.
But all other topics of the PuK community are also welcome.

We expect Abstracts and Full Papers for presentation in the workshop

Submission Guidelines for PuK

- Extended Abstracts
- Short Papers (up to 6 pages).
- Full papers (7 to 12 pages)
