Cholera in Haiti

Dear Beloved in Christ

 

Thank you for your concern and prayers for our people who have been once more hit by the outbreak of cholera.  This calamity struck the country on October 19.  So far over 400 people got killed by the additional disaster, and 4,486 people are hospitalized.  You can feel the pain of all the famulies who have been hit by the cholera which is added to the big list of problems that Haiti had to undergo thoughout the years.  Continue to pray for Haiti.  The people are still under tents suffering under the hot sun where many of them don't have safe traited waters to drink. 

 

The school children are still under tents and suffer the same.  Please pray that we will receive support to finish school buildings in Leogane and in Carrefour-Dufort to lodge the students.  Things are very tough here.  Continue to pray for us and Haiti.
