Dear Beloved andPartners in the Lord

Thank you for the starting schedule and  the money sent to the widows for their work of the yo-yos we received today.  We will share it with them tomorrow.  Here are some good news:

A man went to the Director of the Customs in Port-au-Prince to try to get the container out of customs last month.  He was told they didn't put the name of the Independent Christian Alliance Church in the list of the NGO (Non Governmental Organization).  As I was `waiting for my returning back to Haiti in order to check with the officials to find out about what was going on regarding our NGO status that gives us the right to have duty free from the Customs when we import to Haiti anything for the Mission..  Indeed, after I returned home, April 7, I went to the government office dealing with the NGOs to check about the removal of the ICA regarding its status as NGO.  They showed me the list where the name of our Church wasstill included.  There  was no removal of it.  Thanks to Jesus!..Now we can have containers sent to us and we will not have to pay duty on them, but only for handling charges.

We are allowed to repair our house now.  The engineer is ready to start repairing it.  We will appreciate any donations from people who will be able to help us with this building.  We are still sleeping in the open air.  Last night there was a heavy rain which made it very unconfortable for everyone of us who did not have a house to sleelp in, but under a tent in the open air.  Pray for us.

Thank you  for your love and concerns for the victims of the January 12 earthquake.. May God bless you in Jesus' Name.

Trustfully yours.

Andre
