Asalamu alaykom wa rahmatu Allah,

As the day of the first Quran competition approaches,  we would like to remind you with the following:

Please note that there is no advanced registration requirement for the Quran competition, but you will need to show up on the day of the contest and register the name of your child/children on a specified registration sheet.

Also please read the following grading rubrics and work with your child to make sure that your child/children get the most out of this competition.

Grading rubrics for the Quarn competition:

1.      Recite all required Sorats without mistakes 40

2.      Recite every word with correct harakat (vowels, symbols) 20 (Every mistake is 1 point penalty)

3.      Recite every word with correct pronunciation 20 ( every mistake is 1 point penalty)

4.      Recite from the middle (or any part) of the surat  20
