Hello,
After we did upgrade from 2.6.0 to 2.6.4 we are not getting default_culture (which is set to ES) to be read and applied, system keep showing up in English.
Note that we did a following:
1. php -d memory_limit=-1 symfony tools:upgrade-sql
2. Cache clear: php symfony cache:clear
3. php7.2-fpm restart
4. ngninx restart.

Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks,

Fabio Miranda.

Hi Fabio,

Interesting, I don't recall seeing this issue before. I apologize for starting by asking what may be obvious, but:
  • Did you add the Spanish language code in lower case (as es, rather than ES)?
  • Is Spanish also added in AtoM's language menu in Admin > i18n languages?
  • Did you reindex your site after making this change? See: Populate search index
  • Have you returned to look at the apps/qubit/config/settings.yml configuration file to confirm that your default_culture changes were properly saved?
  • Have you tried testing in a different browser where the browser cache has been cleared, to ensure that you are seeing the latest version of the site, and not a cached version?
Also a small note: I see you've tried running the upgrade task, which normally follows loading a database backup during an upgrade. If you changed the default language, and THEN loaded a backup sqldump that used a different default language, it's possible that the setting has been overridden. Make sure you complete the upgrade process and THEN try changing the default culture?
