Need help accessing master/admin login

Hi there, 

I just inherited this program at my new institution w/o previous SOPs or exit interviews to learn off of. I just found out our access link but I can't do anything or search for anything in our archives without a login. 

So I have 2 issues: 

1. How can I get access as an admin to our account.

2. once I do, how do I make our repository actually searchable since nothing is showing up w/out a login? 

Happy to clarify further.

Command: php symfony tools:add-superuser --email="your...@example.com" --password="MYSUPERPASSWORD" <username>

Your holdings is not "Published".

Only Published items display when not logged in.

First, you can find atom documentation here:

It's pretty good, and you'll find there how it all works.

For some tasks, namely creating a new admin, you really need access to the server it is installed in.

Having that, you can run a command in the command line to create a new admin (superuser), and login:

php symfony tools:add-superuser --email="your...@example.com" --password="MYSUPERPASSWORD" <username>

Finally, my bet is that, if nothing is searchable without logging in, everything has its publication status as "draft". (Read more: https://www.accesstomemory.org/en/docs/2.8/user-manual/add-edit-content/archival-descriptions/#publish-an-archival-description)

Hi thanks for all the information! What can I do if I do not have access to the server it was downloaded on? Is there gain access/create an admin without it?

Hi,

not really. There are a few very long shots (maybe it's an old version with some vulnerability, or allows for api calls, or the database/Elastic Search is exposed, etc), but it would require some degree of expertise and time to figure it out.

I don't know if anyone else here in the forum has any other idea, but I think the best bet, if there is no possibility of getting any credentials, is to try to get access to the server/database.
