You will find a couple links to other forum threads there with more suggestions on how to get AtoM working on RHEL. My guess is that there might still be some necessary PHP extension or package that you need to ensure is properly installed (including the correct version). We at Artefactual do our development, testing, and prepare the documentation based on Ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04, and we do not have the resources to maintain documentation for many different linux distributions and versions - so the amount of support we can provide is limited. Hopefully these other threads will give you some good ideas - see in particular the link to the RHEL 7.1 AtoM installation guide that one user shared - we have not tested it, but it might be of use to you!
