Hi AtoM community,

since We updated from 2.9.0-> 2.9.2 last weekend, we are unable to open the ISAD Editor and are unable to open a lot of infromation Objects, they are crashing with the Exception:

2025/07/11 13:02:06 [error] 345691#345691: *7669 FastCGI sent in stderr: "PHP message: Unknown record property "publicationStatus" on "QubitActor""

Any Ideas?

I guess it has something to do with Premis Rights, but not sure. I'm already trying to debug this now for hours without success. It is no direct property access problem. I also removed all our Plugins, but it is still not working, so it is something in the Data.

Any help or idea would be great.

Thank you
Greets
Raphael

Hi Raphael,

Historically, I have most often seen these kind of errors (with the wrong property on the wrong entity) after users upgrade when they have accidentally skipped one of the upgrade steps. Either:
  • Dropping and recreating the database BEFORE loading your sqldump (step 4 in this section), or
  • Running the SQL upgrade task AFTER loading your data (here in the docs)
If none of those things help you to resolve the issue, then the next suggestion would be to check for data corruption:
Hopefully one of those suggestions will help!

Hi All,

We are experiencing a similar issue as well after upgrading from 2.8.3 to 2.9.2.

When trying to load Information Objects we get the error "Unknown record property "publicationStatus" on "QubitAccession".

Our upgrade followed the installation/upgrade steps in order, and running the data corruption tool does not return any records.

Thanks,
paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the feedback. I will make sure the AtoM Maintainers are aware of this thread, so they can try to reproduce it and prepare a patch if needed.

Hi all,

We've attempted to recreate this issue but haven't been able to reproduce this when attempting to upgrade from earlier releases.
I would first double check the dependencies and technical requirements match ours, most notably having PHP 8+ installed and set up.
In our testing, we used PHP 8.3 with Ubuntu 24.04 for trying to recreate this. We also tested PHP 8.1 with Ubuntu 22.04 when we were moving from 2.8.3 to 2.9.0, but I haven't attempted testing the bigger jump in that environment.

If you're still facing issues and can reliably recreate this, I would suggest opening a GitHub issue on the AtoM repo with more details that might help us reproduce this on our end (if your environment differs from what I've described, details about descriptions you're seeing this on if this only occurs on certain descriptions. A CSV might be helpful if you have one that you used to import said descriptions).

Thanks,

Hi

It happens to me when I use another theme as bootstrap 5.

I then commented it out in the Information object php which means that foeld is skipped.
