Are the derivatives properly generated? Are all necessary libraries in place to generate them? You could try using the regenerate derivatives task on a single description with a video attached to see if it makes a difference. If yes, then the task also has an option to only regenerate videos as well.
Have you tried running any of the common maintenance tasks, such as clearing the application cache, rebuilding the nested set, restarting PHP-FPM, etc? Links for all of these common tasks can be found on the Troubleshooting page:
Are the videos local, or linked via URL? Have you created a test description and tried uploading a new video to see if new digital object uploads behave differently than those already present before the upgrade?
Are there any error messages relevant to this in the webserver error logs? See:
Finally, if none of the above helped to resolve the issue, please remind me about your installation environment. Namely:
- What is the FULL version number shown in Admin > Settings? It should be 2.6.4 - 184. If that second number is lower than v184, then a schema migration was not run. You may have forgotten a step during the upgrade process (such as dropping and recreating the database, and/or running the upgrade task). Repeat these steps if so.
- Have you made any local changes from our recommended installation documentation, and if yes, what changes?
Hopefully with more information we can provide further suggestions.
Cheers,
