AtoM problem with CSV upload truncating after 255 character

Hi Atom community,

I am new here and to Atom support so please pardon my greenness. We are using Ubuntu 20.04.6 and Atom 2.7.1

 The issue: 

We noticed a problem with CSV uploads to AtoM. It looks like descriptions longer than 255 characters are getting cut off. Is there a way to address the problem? 

More descriptions:

While uploading a csv file, if the cell data is more than 255 character the file data gets truncated. We can manually edit the column with no issue but that is not preferred or practical.

The title column on the csv which correspond with scope and content on the website does not show all the information.

Any help or idea would be great.
