Hello,

I have a brand new install of AtoM 2.7.1 on a brand new Ubuntu 20.04 VM. I've imported an AtoM 2.6.4 database from the old server. So far almost everything looks/works correctly, excepet for the clipboard.

  • If someone clicks on the paperclip icon next to an object entry, nothing happens
  • If you click on the big paperclip icon in top right, and select "Go to clipboard", it loads a new page that says "Loading..." above the word Clipboard.
  • In /var/log/nginx/error.log, there many similar entries
Example error.log entry:

2023/02/09 13:42:37 [error] 80037#80037: *8574 FastCGI sent in stderr: "PHP message: Action "user/clipboardStatus" does not exist" while reading response header from upstream, client: 66.249.79.222, server: _, request: "POST /index.php/user/clipboardStatus HTTP/1.1", upstream: "fastcgi://unix:/run/php7.4-fpm.atom.sock:", host: "search.nbca.unbc.ca", referrer: "https://search.nbca.unbc.ca/index.php/2009-10-1-93"

Of course the referrer and client values (and time) are not always the same, but everything else is.

I've done the usual basics (restarted mysql, php7.4-fpm, nginx, memcached and atom-worker).

Please advise. Thanks.

David

Hi David,

Did you run the upgrade task to update the database?

We moved the clipboard from the user path to its own path on 2.7, but there is a migration that should update those menu paths:

Hi Radda,

Yes I did, actually. Though I just ran 'php symfony tools:upgrade-sql'.

I tried running it again just now, and then restart mysql/nginx/php7.4-fpm, and I'm still getting the same Clipboard problems.

Thanks,

David

Hi again David,

I just did a quick try in your site and it works okay for me as a public user. Could it be that it's the same domain and you are facing a browser cache issue?

Best,
Radda.

You are absolutely correct, thank you. There were three of us on three separate computers having the same problem, so I didn't even think to try something basic like using a different browser. We're all set now, thank you so much!
