Hi AtoM community,

This is a general question to the community. We are trying to have both AtoM and koha (an open source library system) on the same machine (Ubuntu 18.04), the first one rely on nginx whereas the later rely on apache. Has anyone met a similar situation where both services sit side by side, if so, I would like to know if it is feasible?

Thanks,

Hi Ghislain,

This is not a topic I'm personally familiar with but from a quick online search, it sounds like it should be possible so long as each web server is configured to listen on different IP addresses / ports, and each serves different subdomains. Here's an example of an article I found just searching "Apache Nginx same server":
Many of the other examples at the top of the results involve one web server acting as a proxy for the other to a single site, but if you keep searching and experimenting a bit, I think it should be possible.

Good luck!
