Change Organisation's logo at AtoM

Dear colleagues,

Good morning! I want to change the organisation's logo on AtoM, but when I read the instructions I need IT support. Is there an easy way to do this without IT support?

Hi Maria, 

Unfortunately, to change the logo in the AtoM header bar, you will need command-line access to the application, so you can replace the version of the logo stored there. I can't currently think of a way to do this without backend access. However, there are a couple other things you can potentially do in the meantime: 

If you can find a copy of your logo online, you can edit the homepage and add it as a URL-linked image there, using HTML, as in the examples here:

• Static pages also support Markdown formatting. See: 
• https://www.accesstomemory.org/docs/latest/user-manual/add-edit-content/formatting/
  

However, the logo in the header will remain unchanged. 

For now, you can at least hide the existing logo via user interface settings if you'd like, as well as customize the title displayed instead. You can do this via two different settings: 

• Use the Default page element settings to show or hide the header bar logo, site title, and/or site description. See:

• Use the Site information settings to edit the site title and site description that can be displayed. See:

Finally, you can also upload a repository logo and/or banner via the user interface. There are specific format and size requirements for these, so be sure to review the docs. See:

Dear Maria,

Yes, You can change the log. Please check the following instructions.

1. Go to web folder

2. Access your plugins folder

3.go to images and find the logo.png and replace your new png file there

I think this should work because we recently did that.
