SSL certificate problem - linking digital object

Hi there,

Atom 2.6. . Ubuntu 18.

Trying to link a digital object on my image server.

But getting this error in the logs:

2023/05/10 17:59:28 [error] 1164#1164: *9303 FastCGI sent in stderr: "PHP message: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate" while reading response header from upstream, client: {my IP address}, server: {my atom website}, request: "POST /index.php/[detailed address] etc. etc.

I'm confused because going directly to any of the links on my image server through the browser has no problem pulling up the images. So the cert on it seems to be fine.

But equally putting in another image from somewhere else works no problem. So the problem must be on my image server.

The other linked images to my image server I already added in my atom instance are working fine. 

So I'm wondering what I should adjust in either php, atom or on the image server.

Don't know what I'm doing wrong.

solved the problem.

The server header on my image server was pointing to the wrong chain files. The fullchain was pointing to cert.pem, and vice versa.

An interesting lesson learned.
