Uploading a PDF digital image

I have combined the last quarter's newsletters on Adobe DC into one PDF. When I upload it to AtoM as a digital image it will not auto generate a Thumbnail representation or a Reference representation. The image displayed on AtoM in the item is the Adobe logo. It gives me an error 500.

Please can the community advise.

Did you combine them as a full fledge .pdf (you can select text on hte pages) or is it images inside the pdf?

It is text with images. The combined document is less than 64MB.

I have this exact same issue. AtoM is not generating any thumbnails for my PDFs.

Hi all, 

It is possible that you might be running into the following issue, caused by a change in ImageMagick. Please see this thread for more information and a solution:

Once you have this fix in place, you can try the derivatives regeneration task again to see if it resolves the issue. See:

I would also recommend you clear the application cache and restart PHP-FPM after:

• Restart PHP-FPM: https://www.accesstomemory.org/docs/latest/admin-manual/maintenance/troubleshooting/#restarting-php-fpm

If that still doesn't resolve the issue, let's make sure you have the proper dependencies installed, including ImageMagick and pdfinfo (which is part of the poppler-utils package):
