Hi Igor,
Artefactual does not test or develop AtoM using WAMP - for production use, we generally recommend a full virtualization solution with a base Ubuntu LTS image, so you can just follow the
recommended installation instructions inside your VM. So in this case, the advice I can offer may be limited, but here are a few things to investigate:
First, out of the box, it looks like WAMP 3.2.6 has some dependency mismatches for what AtoM expects, and if you have not made changes during your WAMP setup, this could be part of the problem. For example: it looks like WAMP 3.2.6 includes either PHP 5, 8, or 7.4. Both PHP versions 5 and 8 will definitely have compatibility issues, but versions 7.4 may as well - AtoM 2.6.x was developed and tested using PHP 7.2 as our installation documentation outlines, and there are at least a few known issues (like
this one) we have had to resolve to support v7.4 in the upcoming AtoM 2.7 release. So that could be causing an issue.
Similarly, we do not test using MariaDB, and there may be feature or syntax incompatibilities between that and the MySQL 8 version that AtoM expects. See for example:
In general, I would recommend taking a look at the webserver error logs to see if there's more information.
There are some known timeout issues with the web installer, which we've fully removed in the upcoming 2.7 release and replaced with a command-line process. Fortunately, in the meantime there are some workarounds available - see the suggestions and links in this thread:
Good luck!
