Hi AtoM users,

I'm getting the following error during  php symfony tools:upgrade-sql.
mysql version mysql-server-8.0.17-3.
Is this a version problem?

Have you done a manual backup and wish to proceed? Hi George,

You're right, AtoM 2.5.x doesn't work with MySQL 8. Among other incompatibilities, MySQL 8 introduced "function" as a new reserved word, which is the cause of the error you're seeing in the upgrade task. We're currently working on the MySQL 8 support, which in fact will be a requirement for AtoM 2.6, but for now it only works with MySQL 5 (ideally 5.7).

Best regards.
