User- or group permissions

For our use case, it would be helpful if we could hide the digital-object metadata not only from unauthenticated users, but also from all users who access the system with view‑only permissions.

Due to copyright restrictions, we need to hide certain elements from the public. Authenticated users with no additional permissions should be able to access the media player, but not the derivative file itself or the master file.

It would also be useful to hide all elements in the same way as for public access, based on the configuration under Visible Objects.

Is there any way to achieve this? It would also be helpful to make this more granular, so that we could define “visible elements” not only globally, but also per user group.
