2.7.2 only global search available in Archival institution

Hi AtoM,

since the last Update (2.7.1 -> 2.7.2) it not possible anymore to use the Header-Search-Box to search in the current Archival institution only. There's only a global search available. I also checked the official demo, and there it also was not possible. Was this removed? Is it a bug? Could the problem be in my custom theme?

Did I miss something during upgrade?

Hi Raphael, 

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! As far as I'm aware, this is an unintended regression and not a deliberate change. The process of preparing 2.7 (with 2 different versions of Bootstrap and every single template in AtoM) was complicated, and coincides with a gradual internal transition of how we maintain and develop AtoM at Artefactual (see the original Maintainers announcement here) to a new team. All of this churn meant that some regressions have slipped through - so we appreciate help from the community in finding and addressing these!

Hopefully our Maintainers will be able to investigate before the next release! In the meantime, remember that the Advanced search menu has a repository filter, so while it is less convenient, you can still scope your searches to one particular archival institution using that filter.

Hello Raphael and Dan,

I will also add that if you enable the institutional scoping functionality, you'll get a separate search box for the repository. 

The search box is similar to what you already get on the institution page, but it will be persistent until you visit a different institution page or perform a global search.
