Basically: is it possible to do this?

My IT guy said the only options he has when importing in the command line are:
--application               The application name (default: qubit)
 --env                       The environment (default: cli)
--connection                The connection name (default: propel)
--rows-until-update         Output total rows imported every n rows.
--skip-rows                 Skip n rows before importing.
--error-log                 File to log errors to.
--source-name               Source name to use when inserting keymap entries.
--default-parent-slug       Parent slug under which imported items, with no parent specified, will be added.
--default-legacy-parent-id  Legacy parent ID under which imported items, with no parent specified, will be added.
--skip-nested-set-build     Don't build the nested set upon import completion.
--index                     Index for search during import.

All of which seem to indicate they are for archival descriptions. Anyone?

Hi there,

What format are you importing the authority records - as EAC-CPF XML, or as CSV records?

If you're importing EAC-CPF XML, you can use the same task - when AtoM reads the XML header, it will understand you are ingesting EAC XML and it will import as an authority record. Note that many of the task options will not be applicable for that kind of import, but some, like the --index option, you might still find useful. Don't mix different entities (for example EAC and EAD XML) in the same import, but otherwise is should just work.

Note that for *exporting* EAC-CPF XML, there is a different task - see: https://www.accesstomemory.org/docs/2.3/admin-manual/maintenance/cli-tools/#cli-bulk-export-eac

If you're importing your authority records as CSV, there is a separate CSV import task:
