Issue with custom theme after upgrade from 2.2.1 to 2.5.4.

We recently had to upgrade atom 2.5.4 from 2.2.1.  The upgrade went quite well except for a strange issue with the main page.   I've attached a couple of images of the site using the custom theme from 2.2.1 and the dominion theme from 2.5.4.    For some reason the custom theme has html hash marks that are visible.  Such as <a href= and <strong>.

I wasn't able to do a lessc of the custom plugin in the 2.5.4 version due to issues getting lessc installed.   

If anyone has any ideas how to fix this that would be great.

Something you can try is enabling Markdown support in the settings: https://www.accesstomemory.org/en/docs/2.5/user-manual/add-edit-content/formatting/#enabling-markdown-in-atom

The docs mention that in AtoM 2.5 some changes were implemented regarding Markdown support, that could be the culprit.

Thanks, Daniel,

It was actually the reverse.  If I disabled markdown it showed ok.   I'll have the user give it a test and see if disabling markdown caused any other issues.
