Hello,

Is there an easy way to improve "typeahead Search box" to also search in actor Item parallelNames and otherNames?

Maybe in modules/search/actions/autocompleteAction.class.php?

Hi Jonathan,

You are on the right track, that action is the one that sets the fields used for the search-box query. However, autocomplete fields require a special configuration in the Elasticsearch (ES) mapping, something that's done only in a few fields. Because the other and parallel names are "foreign types" in the actors index in ES, it will require some investigation and development in order to be able to include them in the autocomplete fields list for actors.
