Using barcodes in ICA ATOM

Hello, 

I'm new to this platform.

I see the question was raised few years ago: does the new version of AtoM allows generating/using barcodes for tracking items and containers?

any thought would be welcome.

Hi polja, 

Unfortunately, no one has yet sponsored enhancements to AtoM's physical storage module. We would *love* to improve this module, but we'll need to find community support to be able to undertake the work ourselves. If your institution is interested in sponsoring development to add barcode support, feel free to contact me off-list so we can discuss requirements further!
