Hi,

I'm trying to improve the performance on my atom install, and the first
setting indicated in the atom-elasticsearch documentation
(https://www.accesstomemory.org/pt-br/docs/2.9/admin-manual/maintenance/elasticsearch/)
says that I should disable auto-discovery on elasticesearch by adding
"transport.type: local" to my elasticsearch.yml config file. But after
doing that, elasticsearch crashes a few seconds after restarting.

Some research led me to
"https://discuss.elastic.co/t/no-more-local-transport-on-6-0-x/102416",
where it is stated that, starting from elasticesearch  6.0, that setting
has been removed from elasticsearch. Shouldn't the documentation be
updated to remove that recommendation?

Tks,

Roberto

Hi Roberto,

Thanks for letting us know. I have filed an issue ticket for this, so that the AtoM Maintainers will see this and hopefully correct it soon. The ticket is here:
