Copying customisations to new atom server

Dear Atom Users

I have made changes to _footer.php and _header.php under the following folder.


I do have the "arDominionPlugin" theme enabled. 
I did clear cache and restarted nginx but the changes are not being picked up in the web UI.

Kindly provide pointers to get this to work.

You might need to restart php7.*-fpm service.

I would also suggest you don’t edit the template files directly, as when you upgrade in the future, these files will be overwritten.

You should instead copy these files to a theme plugin and edit them there.

You can also look at the code for arArchivesCanadaPlugin and how they have edited the _header.php in this theme.

Restarting fpm service did the magic.
I will follow best practice on customisations.
