Hi all,

Is there any way to import the translated terms for an existing taxonomy using CSV, SKOS or any other way, instead of working directly in the application?

Usually, translators work with Excel sheets and their own specialised software setup, so we are sending them an export of all the taxonomy terms currently used for a language and will be receiving back a corresponding table with the translated terms.

Many thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Efthimios,

If the SKOS file contains translations, and the same languages have been added to the AtoM user interface, then they should import. At this time, we don't have a CSV import for terms, so that's not currently an option.

I'm attaching an example file that should import English, French, and Spanish labels for the place term Europe with a child term of Spain. It should give you a sense of how to add translations to a SKOS file.

Cheers,
