PDF finging aid generation in German language

As discussed here:

the generation of pdf documents is not included in the AtoM translations. 

I solved this using a simple sed script that converts the English strings to

German strings.

This is not the best solution. It will fail if the English strings are changed in a new version. It also might have errors because some strings are hard to translate without the context. Not everything is used for finding aid creation which is my only use case. 

May be it is helpful for someone else. 

Any German users out there?
