Hi everyone,

I was trying to install atom 2.2.1 on CentOS 7. When I reached the configure search page, all I got is "Elasticsearch Error".

host: localhost
port: 9200
Search Index Name: atom

I can curl localhost:9200 without any errors. And I checked my httpd error log, there's nothing.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Jason

Solved!
The version of Elasticsearch is too high that Elastica does not support (the version of Elastica is a bit old). I downgraded to version 1.7.5 then everything is fine now.

Hi Jason,

Glad to hear you've solved it! Sorry no one was able to offer recommendations before you figured it out yourself, but thanks so much for updating the thread and sharing what worked for you.
