504 Gateway Time-out

Good Day,

I have installed Atom 2.5.2 according to the installation guide on Ubuntu 18.04. 

When the installation is completed and I access the web site for the first time I start the configuration and complete all the settings as below:

• Database name: atom
• Database username: atom
• Database password: 12345
• Database host: localhost
• Database port: 3306
• Search host: localhost
• Search port: 9200
• Search index: atom

Then when click continue I get a 504 Gateway Time-out and can not complete the installation!

What am I doing wrong?

Unfortunately you've encountered a known issue - but fortunately, there's an easy workaround - see this thread:

In the meantime, we've filed a ticket to track this issue and hope to include a more permanent fix in a future release. See:
