Hello, my name is Prayit, and I am an archivist from Indonesia. As a new member of the AtoM community, I would like to express my appreciation for the Access to Memory (AtoM) project. Its dedication to archival standards such as ISAD(G), ISAAR, and multilingual access is truly valuable and inspiring, especially for archival professionals around the world.

However, I would like to share some feedback based on my experience as a professional user with limited technical background:

1. Installation Complexity
AtoM’s installation process requires advanced knowledge of Linux, server configuration, and command-line tools. This makes it difficult for archivists who are not developers to explore or implement the system independently. A more accessible, beginner-friendly installation path would be incredibly helpful.

2. Limited Demo Version
While the public demo is appreciated, its features are limited, and it doesn’t allow for full testing or long-term exploration. It would be great to see a hosted version of AtoM with basic functionality that users can try more freely.

3. Lack of “Ready-to-Use” Version
Many users like me wish to simply install and start using AtoM without deep server knowledge. AtoM currently lacks a one-click installer or official SaaS version (like Omeka.net), which can be a barrier for broader adoption in smaller institutions.

4. Hope for Beginner Support Tools
I hope the community or project maintainers can provide beginner-focused tools, such as simplified virtual machine images (Docker or Vagrant), user guides with visuals, or preconfigured instances for training purposes.

My Hope:
I strongly believe AtoM has the potential to empower more archivists globally—especially if it becomes more accessible for non-technical users. I look forward to contributing to the community, learning from others, and supporting AtoM's development and outreach.

Thank you for your amazing work and commitment.

Warm regards,
Prayit
