Hello,

For reference, our instructions for installing the Gearman job server in Ubuntu are found here:

As  I understand it, Oracle Linux is very much the same as RHEL - which is an enterprise version of CentOS. So... looking at the Gearman page, it seems like you might be able to install with the following?

• yum install gearmand
• See: http://gearman.org/getting-started/
  

You might want to try searching our forum for CentOS and RHEL and see what you can find. For example, I found the following installation guide for CentOS/RHEL - it is older, so I am not sure if it covers Gearman installation and configuration, but worth looking:
