I don't recall seeing this particular error before - I will consult with our team and see what suggestions they might have. In the meantime, further information about your installation environment would definitely be helpful. I can also offer a few general suggestions for troubleshooting elasticsearch issues to see if they will help. 

First, please tell us more about your installation, such as: 

• What is the full version number, found in Admin > Settings?
• Is there any context that led to this error that would be useful to know? For example, was there a particular issue that caused you to re-index? Had you recently created a new archival institution, or modified an existing one, before this error?
• Have you followed our recommended installation instructions for your version? If no, what changes have you made (e.g. database type and version; web server, PHP version, Elasticsearch version, etc)?
• How much memory does your server have available for use in AtoM?

Additionally, it would be helpful to see the output of the following task, which should tell us more about your search index: 

• php symfony search:status
• See: https://www.accesstomemory.org/docs/latest/admin-manual/maintenance/cli-tools/#check-the-status-of-your-elasticsearch-index

Please share the output of the task here. 

Now, some general suggestions that may help resolve the issue. 

First, two maintenance tasks that can help resolve minor data corruption issues - generating slugs, and rebuilding the nested set. 

The generate slug task will ensure that any record missing a unique slug. Run the following from AtoM's root installation directory: 

• php symfony propel:generate-slugs
• See: https://www.accesstomemory.org/docs/latest/admin-manual/maintenance/cli-tools/#generate-slugs

The nested set build task helps ensure that hierarchical relationships work as expected in the flat, table-based structure of a relational database. Run: 

• php symfony propel:build-nested-set
• See: https://www.accesstomemory.org/docs/latest/admin-manual/maintenance/cli-tools/#rebuild-the-nested-set

Start with that, and see if it helps the task complete. If not, then the additional information you can provide about your installation and your search index will help us provide further suggestions.
