Hi,
If there are only two digital objects in a collection, the carousel will duplicate the thumbnails for display so you will see A B A on the viewer. Is it possible to turn off the scroll so you just see A B? It is ok when there are three or more items.
Thanks,
Sinéad

Hi
I would like to confirm. You created a collection. Then added 2 children under the collection? In other words you have 3 archival descriptions?
I am trying to reporduce but is not able.

I don't know if you can see this (site not secure) but an example of what I mean from our site is http://archives.ul.ie/p26.

Thanks,
Sinéad

HI Johan,
Yes, I have a collection with 2 items so at the fond level I have a carousel showing the items but because there are only 2 I can see the first, second and first again. I wanted to disable scrolling until there are three or more items. Maybe I can get around it by adjusting the carousel viewer width.

Hi  Sinéad

There is no setting to disable the  carousel per collection. I tested on 2.8 and do not see the behaviour.

What version are you using? Perhaps I can test and see if it was a bug.

We are using version 2.7.1 if that matters. I tried adding two images to the AToM demo site (https://demo.accesstomemory.org/) and when I add two digital objects I get the same issue. There are two digital objects (only showing as icons on the demo site) but in the viewer you can see the repeating of thumbnails. I attach a screen shot of the carousel from the demo (top) and our own site (bottom).

I've seen on the York AToM site that where there are two items, there is no infinite scroll. You see both items and go forward and back -https://atom.library.yorku.ca/index.php/obsidian-theatre-company-fonds
