Hi all,

Our library consortium in Illinois is migrating to Alma and Primo VE. The process is underway and will be complete by June 2020. Is there a way to harvest AtoM data in Primo VE? I am thinking top level finding aid records only, not entire folder listings. I saw a few posts about Primo, but not VE. 

If possible, is this something I will need to do in Primo VE customization or in AtoM? 


Any help appreciated!

Hi Anne, 

I'm not familiar with Primo VE, but looking at this page, I think you should be able to configure it to harvest DC XML from AtoM using OAI-PMH. Alternatively, the same page suggests that you could just export all your top-level records from AtoM as DC XML and import them as an external source into Primo VE.
