Pre-populate fields from metadata

Hi All,

I'm so sorry, I'm not sure I fully understand this question myself but I'll try my best.

If you are uploading, say an image, to AtoM, is there a way for AtoM to read the metadata and pre-populate relevant fields in the record?

Lol I  do extract. Exif and other metadata.
