Dear Colleagues and Friends,

The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Tokyo and ASEAN-Japan Center cordially invite you to the Exhibition of "Treasure of Baduy, the Living Culture Harmony" that will be held on:

Date        : 16th - 19th May 2014 (Friday to Monday)

Time        : 10:00 - 17:30 (last day until 14:00)

The exhibition will display photographs, video, woven fabric, batik and ethnographics of Baduy Tribe. During the exhibition there will be several Artist Talks (Discussions) and Workshop:

Friday, May 16, 14:00-15:30

Artist Talk on Baduy Life in photographs, video, textiles and ethnographics of Baduy with Mr. Don Hasman (a well-known Indonesian photographer)

Saturday, May 17, 11:00-12:30

Artist Talk on Baduy weaving development with batik with Mr. Beny Adrianto (Indonesian producer and designer of various goods based on Indonesian traditional arts)

Sunday, May 18, 11:00-15:00

Workshop on Batik Making based on Baduy arts with Mr. Benny Adrianto.

Indonesian traditional food/snacks will be provided at the Artist Talks and Workshop.
