I have owned and used a single-channel IBVA with the PC software for a
little over a year. All other expansions for BrainFire run correctly.
Step 1 does not and I have been curious about the refresh rate control
for quite sometime.
When I attempt to open it from BrainFire Launcher.exe I received the
following error:
"This application requires a Xtra (QuickTime 3) that either does not
exist or failed to initialize properly. Please make sure the
appropriate Xtras are in the Xtra folder(s)"
From there I receive a repeat "Script error. Continue?" with a yes or
no option, w/ 'no' closing the program. If I click 'yes' and continue
attempting to use it, any further clicks on controls results in the
same recurring error.
I have uninstalled a newer version of Quicktime and installed
Quicktime 3.0 on my Windows XP SP3 machine to no avail despite a
successful installation. My Xtras folder consist of 'IBVAXtra.x32' &
'MIDIio.x32' - am I missing a file here? I have also tried adding a
copy of quicktime to the xtras folder and a copy of the xtras folder
to Quicktime. I also see no place to load plug-ins on Quicktime 3.0.
Any further suggestions or similar issues from PC-users? All attempts
at help are appreciated.
