用的是1.4.0版本，切换到中文输入法后，再切换到其他程序后还是中文输入法，必须
手动切换到英文输入才行，感觉非常不方便，希望能改进

在Fedora 17上，ibus-1.4.99.20120428中, 已经没有这个选项了。
请问，upstream的1.4.99.20120428是否还有这个选项？

输入法是否全局的选项应该保留。
Mac OS X上有类似的选项。

個人每天使用 F17 超过 10 个小时，在终端下基本不打中文，但是离开终端要打中
文，比如 PO 個博客，查個文档。这时在终端和非终端下来回切换非常不方便。

为这个问题烦了很长时间了，Fedora 17 x64。到底是IBus的问题，还是Fedora的恶
搞，或者是Gnome3/GnomeShell的限制？用dconf-editor修改对应值不能产生效果。

很烦人啊。

研究了一下，貌似是ibus的新版本已经取消了这个功能，最新的源代码中已经没有了读
取'use_global_engine'设置的代码。具体原因不清楚。因为对输入法不熟悉，分析只
是通过grep和简单阅读判断，应该是没错？

的确很是不方便，比如我就偶尔在一个程序中输入中文，其他都输入英文，需要来回切
换，特别的耽误时间。

再有就是，fedora的ibus经常出问题：有时像死机一样，有时不同的编辑器或者同一个
编辑器不同的窗口的其中一个只能输入英文，但panel上明明显示为“拼”。

ibus 1.5.1 中仍然有这个问题

ibus-setup 的 setup.ui 中只是把这个设置隐藏了，这个设置还是有的，但是就是修
改后也不生效。

如 Comment 7 所说，代码中 use_global_engine 被硬编码为 TRUE 了。

最早将 use_global_engine 设为 True 的 commit:
